1. peel your garlic and 1 of your onions, and chop them as well as your scallions, this will allow the blender to belnd them more easily.
2. cut your kiwis in half and scoop out the fruit from the skins
3. in a blender add your garlic, onion, scallions, sesame seeds, sugar, kiwis, soy sauce, mirin, orange juice, and sesame oil and blend until smooth, this makes 8 cups of marinade of which you only need 2 cups per 4 pounds of ribs so feel free to freeze the rest in 2 cup portions and thaw when needed
4. add your marinade to your ribs and marinate for a minimum of 2 hours, ideally over night
5. when ready to cook, slice the other onion thinly
6. grill on medium high heat for about 4 minutes per side, and serve on your sliced onions immediately, optionally serve with a cup of steamed rice
