In our traditional Bumgarner fashion our Barbera is a Robust expression of the varietal with rich dark cherry, graphite and vanilla aromas with moderate tannins and a firm and bright finish.

This Barbera was grown by Irene and Nemorio De Casas at their Las Lomas Vineyard in Placerville.
3 day cold soak followed by bin fermentation with 3 punchdowns per day
This vineyard has super steep and rocky well drained soils that have low yields and very intense fruit expressions.
